Dubrovnik-Neretva County
In Dubrovnik-Neretva County out of 208 tests, there are 45 new cases (22%). There are 12 people from Dubrovnik, 11 from Metković, seven from Vela Luka, three from Konavle, Opuzen and Župa dubrovačka, two from Smokvica and one each from Blato, the Dubrovnik littoral, Lastovo and Ston. A total of 24 men and 21 women were infected, and an epidemiological link was established for 18 individuals.
Thirty-three (33) people recovered: ten from Dubrovnik, five from Metković, four from Blato, Ploče and Župa dubrovačka, one each from Konavle, Kula Norinska, Opuzen and Vela Luka, and two people who do not reside in the county. Fifty-four (54) people tested positive for COVID-19 were hospitalized in OB Dubrovnik. Five patients require intensive care, one patient is on oxygen, one is on noninvasive ventilation, and three are on invasive ventilation. There are 789 people in self-isolation.
Istra County
In Istra County 58 people were already in self-isolation or close contacts of positive people. Epidemiologically, 6 are imported cases from the following areas: Zagreb (3), Rijeka (2), Italy (1). Fifty-one (51) people recovered and there 988 people in self-isolation.
Primorje-Gorski Kotar County
In Primorje-Gorski Kotar County out of 1231 tests, 338 are positive for COVID-19 (27%). According to the data of the Office of the Directorate of the University Hospital Center Rijeka, the number of hospitalized patients treated for COVID-19 is 117. Of that number, 12 patients are on ventilators.
Split-Dalmatia County
In Split-Dalmatia County out 886 processed tests, there are 341 new cases (38%) — from Split 155, Imotski 22, Kaštela 35, Komiža 1, Makarska 3, Omiš 19, Sinj 3, Solin 21, Stari Grad 1, Trilj 4, Trogir 6, Vrgorac 5, Brela 1, Dugi Rat 14, Dugopolje 2, Gradac 5, Jelsa 1, Klisa 1, Lecevica 1, Lovrec 2, Marina 2, Okrug 1, Podbablje 9, Podgora 1, Podstrana 14, Proložac 3, Runovića 2, Seget 1, Šestanovac 1, Tučepi 2, Zmijavci 1 and Cista Provo 2 people.
Out of the total number of newly diagnosed people, 151 are contacts of previously ill patients. There are 159 people in hospitalized at the Split Clinical Hospital, while 19 people are on ventilators. A total of 2637 people are in self-isolation.
Zadar County
In Zadar County out of 406 tests, 157 were positive (39%). The new cases are from Zadar (81), Benkovac (6), Biograd (6) and Obrovac (3) and the municipalities of Bibinje (9), Galovac (1), Gračac (1), Jasenice (1), Kali (7) ), Kukljica (3), Pakostane (2), Pasman (2), Polaca (2), Policnik (5), Posedarje (3), Povljana (2), Preko (3), Privlaka (1), Razanac (3) ), Sali (1), Stankovci (2), Starigrad (1), Sukosan (2), Sv.Filip i Jakov (1), Skabrnja (4) and Zemunik Donji (5).
Tests at the Home for the Elderly and the Infirm in Zadar showed that 7 more residents tested positive for COVID-19. At the moment, 58 patients are hospitalized in COVID-19 wards at the Zadar General Hospital, 5 of whom are on ventilators, and 13 patients with COVID-19 are housed in the Biograd hospital. There are 2512 people in self-isolation and the Zadar Police Administration recorded one violation.
Zagreb City
In Zagreb City 989 tests were performed at the National Institute of Public Health “Dr. Andrija Štampar”, of which 280 were positive (28%). Antigen tests were performed on 1,014 people, and 414 people or 40.8 percent were positive. Employees of the Epidemiology Service successfully contacted 448 people and a measure of self-isolation was imposed on 1417 people.
Out of 448 processed positive people: 131 have negative epidemiological anamnesis so far, 174 persons are contacts of COVID-19 positive people, and one person arrived from Serbia. Sixty-one (61) people are residents/employees of elderly homes and other social welfare institutions. Eight people were exposed at the workplace.
Positive results were confirmed for 57 residents and eight employees in homes for the elderly and infirm and other social institutions in Zagreb. Positive test results were confirmed for 31 students and eight primary school teachers and 25 students and two secondary school teachers. Self-isolation was determined for 724 primary school students and 563 secondary school students. There are 28 people in quarantine in Zagreb.

Self-isolation was prescribed for 6 classes of elementary school students and 2 classes of high school students.

Implementing Stricter Measures, Charges Issued
The implementation of stricter measures is being overseen by civil protection inspectors, the State Inspectorate and the police, since Saturday. Violations were recorded in 75 legal entities, 39 misdemeanors and one criminal charge were issued, Damir Trut, Director of Civil Protection revealed on HRT. He added that civil protection units performed 1,649 inspections in about twenty hours.
Prime Minister in self-isolation
After experiencing a mild fever, the wife of Prime Minister Plenković, Ana Maslać-Plenković, started tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, and her test was positive. The Prime Minister is negative. He was prescribed an epidemiological measure of self-isolation for 10 days. They will continue to perform their activities and responsibilities from home.
Fifteen COVID-19 Patients Arrive at the Arena
The head of the Arena Zagreb medical team, Davor Vagić, said on Saturday that 15 patients with a mild clinical outlook from three Zagreb hospitals would arrive at the Arena during the day. Patients will come from the Clinic for Infectious Diseases “Dr. Fran Mihaljević”, Clinical Hospital Dubrava and KB “Sestre Milosrdnice”. Dr. Vagic told Dnevnik HRT that these are patients who are nearing the end of their treatment and who still need three or four days to recover. The Arena has prepared 100 beds, with about 50 nurses and 18 doctors. “They all arrived at 8:00 CET and underwent training with the coordinators,” Vagic revealed. He also reported that today there will be three doctors on duty and 6 to 8 nurses who will work 12 hour shifts and after that the staff will switch.
Voice of Entrepreneurs: Now is Right Time for Reforms, Urgently Reduce VAT
“Stricter measures have prevented and banned many entrepreneurs from working, and after half a year of fighting the crisis, many of them simply do not have funds to continue doing business. We also warned that more than 100,000 workers would probably lose their jobs, and that many companies will trades close their doors,” they warned on Saturday.
“Yesterday we participated in a meeting of representatives of entrepreneurs with the Government where we presented proposals which we believe will enable entrepreneurs to survive in this difficult period. We emphasize that we are glad that the meeting was finally held, although we believe it should have been held much earlier,” read their statement.
Zagreb Places Passenger Capacity Labels on Trams
Ljuba Romčević-Žgela, President of the Management Board of ZET, reported that the production of labels with the exact number of passengers which can be a vehicle is in progress. Stickers will be displayed on the first front doors of ZET vehicles, and on articulated buses, on both the first and rear doors.
“I ask all customers of public transport to protect themselves and others and not to get into vehicles when they see that there are a large number of passengers in the vehicle,” Romčević-Žgela emphasized on Friday.
Međimurje High Schools Begin Online Classes
“At a meeting with principals, we decided that classes in high schools will be held online from Monday, November 30 to December 14,” revealed Blaženka Novak, Head of the Administrative Department of Education on Friday. She added that it was agreed that classes will be held online during the morning shift as often as possible.
School Holidays Extended by One Week
The Christmas holidays begin on December 24, and were supposed to last until January 8. That is, the students were supposed to be in school on January 11. However, as confirmed to Index by the Ministry of Education, the holidays will be extended by a week, so Croatian students will start school on January 18. As reported to Index on Friday, there probably will not be any holidays scheduled between February 23 and 26.
Bubaš Not Expect any Significant Improvements for Three Weeks
Assistant Director of the Croatian Institute of Public Health Marija Bubaš was a guest on Novi Dan and commented on the new measures, as well as the situation with the COVID-19 epidemic in Croatia. “I don’t expect any significant improvements given the number of infected, I’m still of the opinion that it will take a long time. We’ll see in three weeks, it’s hard project everything,” explained Bubas.
She believes that with the maximum use of all resources, it is possible to process 20,000 tests a day. “If the number of infected people falls and if we manage curtail infections, we may not have to reach that ceiling. There are currently 28 testing sites in Croatia. I believe we will be able to control this epidemic more effectively,” she added on Friday.

Croatia National Headquarters New Safety Measures
Croatia has officially closed night clubs, night bars, discos, casinos, slot machine clubs and fitness centers. Restaurants and cafes are also closed. However, restaurants may offer delivery and pick-up. Stores and businesses allowed to remain open must adhere to the capacities prescribed by Civil Protection Headquarters. All events and gatherings with more than 25 people are prohibited, funerals included.

Drive In COVID-19 Testing at Split Ferry Terminal Beginning Monday, November 30
Drive in testing will be available at the Split ferry port at external berth of the cruise terminal – from 07:00 to 13:00 CET beginning Monday November 30.
Testing will be available exclusively to people who have ordered online. Two separate testing points are set up at the mentioned location. There is one for people who come by car and use the drive in service and the other point is for those who arrive as pedestrians. It is important to note that beginning November 30 there will be no testing at Križine. Appointments for testing can be arranged here.
Zagreb Offers Free Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Testing Beginning Monday, November 23
As of Monday, November 23, the City of Zagreb started mass antigen testing for COVID-19, the results of which will be obtained in 15 minutes. There are currently 50,000 tests available. The new working hours of Drive-in testing from Monday, November 16, 2020 are: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00 CET; on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00 CET and on Sundays from 08:00 to 12:00 CET. Separate COVID-19 Clinic Open in Rijeka
A separate COVID-19 health clinic started operating in the macro center of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Health Center in Zamet (Bože Vidasa 16a). A separate outpatient clinic is intended for the examination of COVID-19 positive patients or patients with symptoms that may indicate a COVID-19 infection. General/family medicine teams will be receiving patients in the basement of the building (specially marked entrance on the north side of the building) on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and public holidays from 08:00 to 20:00 CET. Patients are admitted to the outpatient clinic exclusively by prior telephone appointment at the following telephone numbers: 091 251 8544 or 091 251 8545.
Ministry of Interior Reminds Citizens and Residents to Visit Police Stations Only When Urgent
The Ministry of the Interior (MUP) reminded citizens and residents on November 10 to come to police administrations and stations only in case of an urgent need to urgently solve some of the administrative tasks in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection. They repeat that the validity of ID cards, passports and driver’s licenses and weapons certificates which expired after the proclamation of the COVID-19 epidemic on March 11 were extended for the entire duration of the epidemic, and at most 30 days after the proclamation of the end of the epidemic. The Ministry of the Interior also points out the possibility of submitting certain applications for administrative tasks via e-Services, which include submitting applications for passports, driver’s licenses, registration of residence, giving consent in certain administrative procedures, such as the landlord’s consent to registering residence.
Influenza Vaccinations Began in Mid October
