November 19, 2020 — LOT has announced its flight schedule for December 2020. The Polish national airline will offer only one flight to Croatia — between Warsaw and Zagreb.
Although LOT offered Warsaw – Dubrovnik flights during winter 2019, this year that route will not be available. The airline confirmed with Croatian Aviation that they considered offering flights to Dubrovnik during the Christmas and New Year holidays. However, due to the spread of the pandemic, that route was put on hold.
Therefore, LOT will remain on the Croatian market with one route. That flight connects the capitals of Poland and Croatia — Warsaw and Zagreb.
In addition, the Polish airline will not increase the number of weekly flights on this route from mid-December. Several other airlines have increased flights over the holidays. Nevertheless, LOT will offer only one more flight per week between December 7 and December 12, 2020.
Polish LOT Offers Zagreb Flights Four to Five Times a Week During December
- For the first week of December, LOT will fly to Zagreb on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
- The Polish airline will add a Saturday flight for the second week of the month.
- In the last two weeks of December, LOT announced four flights a week. Depending on the day, departures are available in the morning and afternoon.
The Polish airline significantly increased the number of flights to Croatia during summer 2020. LOT also plans to offer them next year as well. According to plan, they will release their final summer 2021 flight schedule in January. It is worth noting that many Polish tourists visited Croatia last summer, in spite of COVID-19 and declining demand.
