COVID-19 Case Breakdown: from Bjelovar, one from Veliki Grđevac, and one from Rovišće.
Announcement: The county passed new safety measures — effective September 7, 2020.
1. A maximum of 50 people can be present at wedding ceremonies.
2. A maximum of 20 people may be present at other private ceremonies.
3. A maximum of 50 people may be present at funerals, wakes may only be held within the immediate family and a maximum of 20 people may be present, and condolences to the bereaved must not be expressed through close contact.
This Decision is applied from September 7, 2020, therefore, from tomorrow and is valid for the next 30 days after which the epidemiological situation in the Bjelovar-Bilogora County will be seen. Also, the Headquarters of local self-government units are in charge of intensified supervision of prescribed epidemiological measures.

COVID-19 Case Breakdown: five men and five women from Dubrovnik (one man was most likely infected outside of Croatia, and an epidemiological link was established for four women). One man and one woman from the Dubrovnik Parish were infected (an epidemiological link was established for both), three men and one woman from Metković (an epidemiological link was established for all), one male from Ploče, one from Opuzen and one man who is not a resident of the county.
Thirteen people recovered – two from Dubrovnik, two from Metković, two from the Dubrovnik Parish, one each from the Dubrovnik littoral, Vela Luka, Kula Norinska and Konavle, and three people who do not reside in the county.

COVID-19 Case Breakdown: 8 in Karlovac (5 men and 3 women). These are older (1 man and 1 woman) people from Duga Resa, 2 middle-aged men (1 from Slunj, 1 from Karlovac), 2 younger men (1 Karlovac, 1 Duga Resa) and two (2) older women who are already in the hospital in OB Karlovac.
Due to the already mentioned two patients from the hospital department of vascular surgery, there are 12 employees of OB Karlovac in self-isolation, of which 9 are medical staff (2 doctors, 7 nurses/technicians).

An 87-year-old man died in the past 24 hours. The deceased was positive for COVID-19, among other comorbidities.

COVID-19 Case Breakdown: In one case, a COVID-19 positive person was detected. He participated in a wedding ceremony in Varaždin last weekend. He is an asymptomatic health worker, who was detected as part of a preventive testing protocol when returning to work in the hospital system. From the mentioned wedding ceremony, there are 2 additional positive people, who are not citizens of Varaždin County, but one person from the area of the city of Zagreb and one citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovin, who was immediately hospitalized in the General Hospital Varaždin. All guests of the wedding ceremony and service staff are in self-isolation.
The second case was imported from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it concerns an elderly woman, who was also admitted to Varaždin General Hospital.

Travel from Croatia: Red and Orange Lists
The following countries have placed Croatia on their COVID-19 red lists which means that a negative PCR test and/or a 14-day quarantine is required upon entry. Countries which have placed Croatia on their orange lists are not recommending travel to Croatia.
Hungary is barred entry from foreign countries effective September 1, except for transit.

Travel to Croatia
All EU/EEA citizens and EU/EEA permanent residents (EU 27 + UK + Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, as well as Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, and the Vatican) can freely enter Croatia as of July 1, without restrictions. Non-EU/EEA citizens, or citizens from third countries (including US citizens) must meet certain conditions to enter (see below).

COVID-19 PCR Test or Self-Isolation Required for Third County Nationals
This applies to third country national passengers entering Croatia for permitted tourism or other business reasons or who have other economic interests, as well as people travelling for educational purposes.
These passengers may enter Croatia without the obligation of self-isolation upon presentation of a negative nasal and pharynx swab test for COVID-19, not older than 48 hours (starting from the time of taking the swab until arrival at the border crossing), or with the obligation of 14 days quarantine/self-isolation if they do not have a negative PCR test.
If third-country nationals have a test older than 48 hours upon entering Croatia, they will be allowed to enter Croatia. However, they will be required to self-isolate and test again in Croatia at their own expense. The above also applies to passengers and crew members on yachts. Persons who do not present a negative PCR test result are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine/self-isolation measure.
Persons who have a negative PCR test, and are on the self-isolation list, whether they’ve been on the list for seven days or have re-tested because they had a test older than 48 hours when entering Croatia, are to be removed from the self-isolation list.
