The new cases are family contacts and contacts of infected people. Case Breakdowns: Young and middle-aged people from the City of Zadar (2), the City of Pag (2) and the municipalities of Stankovci (3) and Privlaka (1).
13:00 – At the Šibenik hospital, two employees and several patients were tested for COVID-19 due to suspicions that they might be infected, the hospital confirmed for Index. Two employees were sent to self-isolation last night after it was determined that they were in contact with infected patients at weddings and had fevers. Several patients were also tested, but the hospital could not yet confirm how many.
12:33 – “We expect that the adopted measures will result in a reduction of the number of patients within 14 days,” Sandra Šikić, deputy of “Dr. Andrija Štampar”Teaching Institute for Public Health, told HRT.
The last two days in the NZJZ have recorded a higher number of tourists coming for testing, because they require a PCR test to return to their country. Sikic added that they performed 200 tests at the drive-in testing today, and yesterday and Friday they did over 300.

Case Breakdown: A girl from Dubrovnik, who is a contact before a positive person, and a middle-aged man from Korčula, for whom epidemiological processing is underway. The third, a girl from Zagreb and contact of an infected person, left the county.
One person from Korčula recovered, and one person is hospitalized at the Dubrovnik hospital.

Case Breakdowns: A young woman and an elderly man from Karlovac, both with a negative epidemiological history. One middle-aged woman from the municipality of Vojnić, without symptoms of the disease, tested for return to work after vacation.
A one-year-old child from Karlovac also tested positive. The child is asymptomatic, and was tested before going abroad for surgery. Epidemiological history so far negative.
As of yesterday, of the the 4 cases that were reported, all four became ill after returning from vacation in Dalmatia (1 Makarska, 2 Vodice, 1 island of Hvar, Split)

Out of a total of 19 patients, there are 10 from Šibenik, 3 from Knin, 2 from Vodice, 2 from Bilice and one each from Kistanje and Drniš. There is also 1 person from Požega-Slavonia County who was staying in Vodice.
Currently, 355 people are under health supervision and self-isolation measures, of which 353 are contacts of patients, and two people entered the Republic of Croatia from third countries and were given a 14-day quarantine measure.

Case Breakdown: from Split 11, from Dugi Rat 1, from Zmijavec 2, from Imotski 1, from Runovići 6, from Podbablje 1, from Kaštela 1, from Marina 1, from Podstrana 1, from Makarska 1, from Podgora 1 and from Hvar 1. There is also 1 person from the city of Zagreb who tested positive in Split.
Out of 28 newly infected persons from the area of the Split-Dalmatia County, 12 persons are contacts of previously infected persons, while the other newly infected persons are epidemiologically treated.

One new patient has a negative epidemiological history, 10 people are infected, and 18 new patients could have been exposed at nightclubs and cafes during the holidays. Four people are undergoing epidemiological treatment, and three people came from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo.

One person came from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the other two live in the county, and are contacts of infected people. A total of 198 people, mostly tourists and Italian citizens, were tested. Of these, 84 were tested on Cres and Lošinj alone and all were negative.

All new patients are from Osijek, and their age is 16, 18, 43, 44, 69 and 70 years.
In the last 24 hours, the police did not receive any reports of self-isolation violations, and in 22 self-initiated checks, everyone was found at their reported addresses.
9:00 – Plenković said last night that Croatia had prevailed over COVID-19 in the first round. As for the preparations for the fall, he advised everyone to be very vigilant.
8:55 – “The fact that the virus is spreading is not bad, but good news,” Gordan Lauc, scientist and member of the government’s scientific council, said yesterday. The current clinical symptoms are milder than in winter, and a new important Swedish study suggests.
